On August 22, 2025, a series of traffic accidents occurred on the B105 near Reinberg, resulting in criminal charges against both drivers involved.
The incidents began when a 49-year-old driver of a Skoda car attempted to overtake a slower-moving truck on the B105. While doing so, the Skoda driver failed to notice a BMW car also attempting to overtake. As a result, the BMW driver was forced to swerve to avoid a collision with the Skoda, hitting a roadside post and damaging its left external mirror.
The BMW driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to Stralsund hospital by ambulance. The Skoda driver, however, fled the scene in the direction of Stralsund.
The total material damage was approximately 2,000 EUR. The BMW driver tried to get the Skoda driver's attention using hazard lights and attempted to make him stop, but the Skoda driver did not.
The Skoda driver who fled at 19:40 on 22.08.2025 during the traffic accidents on the B105 near Reinberg was later identified and criminal charges were filed against him for hit-and-run, endangering traffic, and causing bodily harm.
Meanwhile, the BMW driver was charged for coercion in traffic.

Both cars came to a halt at the intersection of B105/L30 due to a red traffic light. The BMW driver overtook the Skoda and positioned himself in front of it to stop it, resulting in a side collision.
