Collision on B27 close to Kirchentellinsfurt: minor sustained harm to a child

On Wednesday afternoon at around 2:10 PM, a traffic accident occurred at the junction of the B27 / L379 exit in Kirchentellinsfurt. The accident involved a 78-year-old man driving a Mercedes on the B27 towards Stuttgart.
As the man exited the B27 at the Kirchentellinsfurt junction, he attempted to turn left onto the L379. Unfortunately, the Mercedes collided with a Suzuki that had the right of way. The driver of the Suzuki, a child, sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
The accident resulted in additional property damage, including the need for vehicle towing. The property damage from the accident is estimated to be around 15,000 euros. Both vehicles had to be towed away.
The fire department responded with three vehicles and 15 personnel to the scene. They ensured that the area was safe and cleared the accident by 3:10 PM.
Initial reports suggest that the child was the only person injured in the accident. We hope for a speedy recovery for all those involved. The police are currently investigating the cause of the accident.
