A traffic accident occurred on Tuesday afternoon on Ottenheimerstraße in Offenburg, Germany. The collision occurred at the junction of Ottenheimerstraße and Waldstraße, causing damage estimated to be approximately 30,000 euros.
According to police reports, the accident was due to a failure to yield by a 54-year-old Dacia driver who was attempting to turn left onto Ottenheimerstraße from Waldstraße. The 37-year-old MG driver, coming from Ottenheim, had the right of way but was unfortunately ignored.
As a result of the collision, both drivers were slightly injured and were taken to a nearby clinic for further treatment. The MG driver was pushed off the road to the right and stopped 50 meters later on an adjacent field path.
