In the afternoon of Monday, a serious traffic accident occurred on the L1088 country road near Öhringen in the Hohenlohe district. The accident site is now located in the Heilbronn district, specifically between the junctions to Hardthausen-Kochersteinsfeld and Langenbeutingen-Langenbrettach.

The accident involved a car and a truck, with the car driver, aged 62, veering onto the opposite lane. The car driver was seriously injured and had to be airlifted to the hospital by a rescue helicopter. Fortunately, the truck driver remained uninjured.

The road where the accident occurred is completely closed, and the L1088 country road is closed in two locations due to the incident. This is causing significant disruptions to traffic in the Heilbronn district.
