Collision between Vehicle and Pedestrian Results in Driver's Escape
In the early hours of Tuesday, May 27th, a disturbing incident unfolded on Jahnstraße in Essen-Bochold. A 29-year-old resident of Essen was crossing the street when they were struck by a black Mercedes coupe.
The impact sent the pedestrian to the hospital, but the nature of their injuries remains unknown at this time. The driver of the black Mercedes coupe, unfortunately, fled the scene after the incident.
The incident occurred near the intersection of Jahnstraße and Germaniastraße. The police are currently investigating the incident and are seeking witnesses. The traffic division of the Essen police is particularly interested in any information regarding the fleeing driver of the black Mercedes coupe.
