CoComelon has expanded into live-action programming with its latest series, The Melon Patch. The show launched on YouTube on 23 September 2023, offering families a fresh blend of animated and real-world learning. New episodes arrive every two weeks, aiming to address concerns about screen time and educational value. The series introduces Ms. Appleberry, played by Allie Rivera Quiñonez, who leads a classroom with educators Mr. Doodad, Ms. Twist, and Mr. Acorn. Together, they guide young viewers through lessons focused on social-emotional skills, language growth, and sensory discovery.

Alongside the show, a special album, CoComelon Nursery Rhymes (Songs From The Melon Patch), was released on 19 September 2023. This launch marks a notable shift in children's entertainment, as CoComelon moves beyond animation into live-action content.

The project stands as the brand's only confirmed new series before CoComelon Playdates with Sanrio Friends, set for January 2026, and an untitled film planned for 2027.
