Clothing changeover event - this coming Friday, 5th September
Get ready to refresh your wardrobe in a sustainable and fun way! The Arnsberg Citizens' Center is hosting a Clothing Swap Party on September 5th, from 6:30 PM in Room E.01.
This event offers a cosy atmosphere where you can enjoy used clothing and accessories. Participants are encouraged to bring up to 10 items, but there's no minimum requirement. The principle of the event is to bring clothes that you're willing to part with.
As you browse through the offerings, remember that no 1-to-1 swap is guaranteed. You may not go home with the exact same number of items you brought. However, if you don't find anything and your items are still hanging after the event, you're welcome to take them back home.
Bringing clothes on hangers is encouraged to make the event run smoothly. All clothing should be clean, freshly washed, and ironed. Unfortunately, underwear, children's clothing, and men's clothing are not allowed. Clothes will be sorted by size upon arrival.
Clothing swapping is a trend that originated in the USA and is gaining popularity as an alternative to buying new clothes. For more information and registration, contact the Arnsberg Engagement Promotion at Tel.: 02932 201-2281.
The Clothing Swap Party will continue until around 8:30 PM. So, mark your calendars and get ready to swap!
Please note that the organizer of the specific event on September 5th is not explicitly mentioned in the search results. However, clothing swap events are often organised by local cultural or community centers, but no direct source confirms the organizer for that specific event.
Remember, it doesn't matter who brought which item. The joy is in the discovery and the satisfaction of finding something new, while reducing waste and promoting sustainability. We hope to see you there!
