Münster's New Urban Quarter: Public Feedback Invited

Münster's City Planning Office is inviting all interested parties to a presentation event on Monday, September 8th, at 6 pm, at the parish center St. Ida, Vornste Esch 22. The event is part of the building plan procedure and the parallel amendment procedure for the land use plan.

The focus of the event will be the new urban quarter planned on the former Westfalen AG site on Heidestraße in Angelmodde, which will feature approximately 450 apartments. The development will also include child daycare facilities, a public playground, and a site for a four-year comprehensive school adjacent to the south.

Vivawest Wohnen GmbH is working with the city on the development of the new quarter. However, the search results do not contain information about this collaboration.

During the event, the design will be presented, and there will be an opportunity to ask questions and make suggestions. The feedback period for the design will last from September 8th to October 3rd. The feedback submission process for the design will be through an online form on the City Planning Office's website, which will be available during this period. No registration is required for the event.

An interdisciplinary planning team from the fields of urban planning, open space design, and drainage has further developed the urban design since the last participation event in June 2023.

The City Planning Office's website will publish the presentation and results of the event. The feedback can be submitted online through the form on the City Planning Office's website during the specified period.

For those who cannot attend the event, the presentation and results will be available on the City Planning Office's website at www.stadt-unser website/stadtplanung. The City Planning Office encourages everyone to participate in this important process and share their thoughts on the new urban quarter.
