Cigarette dispenser exploded, culprit remains at large in police investigation

On the morning of Friday, August 8, 2025, a cigarette vending machine in Hainbuchenstraße, Aachen, was destroyed. The incident, which occurred early in the morning, was reported by Aachen Police and is now being investigated by the criminal police.

According to reports, a resident was awakened by a loud noise around 3 a.m. Upon investigation, the resident observed an unknown individual near the destroyed cigarette vending machine. When approached, the individual ran away, leaving the scene undetected.
