Christmas Market in Offenbach 2024: Details on Events Schedule and Clubhouse Information

The Offenbach Christmas Market is set to return this year, bringing joy, festivities, and a touch of winter magic to the heart of the city. From the 18th of November to the 29th of December, the market will be open, offering a variety of experiences for residents and visitors alike.

On the 14th of November, the ten-meter-high Christmas tree, located in front of the town hall, will be set up. This year's tree, a Nordman fir from the Sauerland region, is yet to be named. The Office for Public Relations is currently seeking suggestions from Offenbach residents, who can submit their ideas via the city's social media channels. In previous years, the trees were named "Waldemar" and "Frieda".

The market will be a weapon-free zone due to enhanced security measures, ensuring a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for all.

Throughout the market's run, visitors can engage directly with club representatives and learn about the various social and cultural offerings in the city. The clubhouse at the Stadthof will be used by around 50 clubs and volunteer organizations from Offenbach. The clubhouse offers space for two clubs simultaneously and is equipped with monitors to present projects and initiatives. The clubhouse schedule varies daily, with different organizations scheduled each day.

The market will host a series of performances, starting with the band PFH on the 23rd of November. On the 29th, Almdudler Mountain Songs will take the stage. On December 1, Geschwister David will perform Christmas carols, followed by the Schlagerweihnacht Hitmix Duo on the 30th. The Eintracht Music Association will perform traditional Christmas carols on the 8th, and on the 6th, a Musical Christmas Revue featuring singing angels and Santa Claus will take place. Alexandre Zindel AutoharpSinger will perform Christmas classics on the 7th, and on the 13th, there will be a Nicholas Chapel performance.

On December 5, St. Nicholas will visit the market with his angel, adding to the festive spirit.

The market will be closed on November 24 and over the Christmas holidays (December 25-26). The Offenbach Christmas Market 2024 stage program includes music ensembles, bands, and Santa Claus, promising another season of festive celebrations.
