In the city of Chita, work is being carried out on two sections of Novobulvarnaya Street under two municipal contracts. The stretch from Shilova Street to Zhuravlev is nearing completion, with asphalt concrete paving and pedestrian paving already completed. By October 9, 400 linear meters of pedestrian railing will be installed, lawns will be completed, 40 road signs will be installed, and one traffic light will be mounted on this stretch.

Chita Mayor Innа Sheglova recently conducted an on-site inspection of works on Novobulvarnaya Street. The city head positively assessed the progress of work on all streets being repaired this year. Sheglova emphasized that regular on-site monitoring will continue.

The second section of Novobulvarnaya Street, from Zhuravlev Street to Butina, is 243 meters long. However, the delays in the completion of this section are noted due to the large-scale relocation of engineering communications. No new information about the status of work on this stretch from Zhuravlev to Butina is provided.

Sergei Novichenko, Deputy Chairman of the Economic Policy Committee of the Zabaykalsky Krai Legislative Assembly, attended the inspection. Despite extensive online searches, there is no relevant information available about Novichenko's political involvement in the on-site inspection for the improvement of Novobulvarnaya Street.

A check was conducted by the Prosecutor's Office based on information about an unscheduled water outage in Chita. However, the connection between this incident and the Novobulvarnaya Street improvement project is not clear from the provided information.

The city head has emphasized that regular on-site monitoring will continue to ensure the timely and quality completion of the ongoing street improvement projects.
