Chelsea revive β¬70m bid for Juventus' rising star Kenan Yildiz
Chelsea are preparing to renew their interest in Juventus forward Kenan Yildiz. The 19-year-old has impressed in Serie A this season, contributing one goal and three assists. With talks between Juventus and Yildiz's representatives stalling, a transfer could now become more likely.
Yildiz is regarded as one of Europe's brightest young talents, with Chelsea valuing him at around β¬70 million (Β£61m/$81m). The Blues previously had a bid of the same amount rejected but remain keen to strengthen their attacking options. Barcelona have also entered the race, adding competition for his signature.
Juventus, however, are in no rush to sell. The Italian side have made a strong start to the season, sitting fifth in Serie A with 12 points from six unbeaten games. Their next fixture is against Como on October 22. Yildiz's contract runs until 2029, giving the club firm control over his future.
Negotiations between Juventus and Yildiz's father, who acts as his agent, have reportedly slowed. This delay may open the door for Chelsea or Barcelona to make a fresh offer in the coming months.
For now, Yildiz remains a Juventus player with no active bids on the table. His performances this season have reinforced his reputation as a top prospect. Any potential move would depend on further negotiations between the clubs and the player's representatives.
