In the heart of Belarus, the agrotown of Gorbačeviči is undergoing a remarkable transformation. The focus of the recent visit by Michael Borodin, Director of OAO "Bobruisk Agrokombinat," was a unique project underway in this picturesque location, just 12 kilometers from Bobruisk.
Borodin, who took up his position in 2020, expressed his belief that beauty and comfort significantly boost productivity. He referred to the project as 'Tholoka', and the area is now suitable for photoshoots, having become picturesque.
Gorbačeviči holds historical significance, as Russian detachments gave Napoleon's army a tough fight in 1812. The local Rizоположенsky church, a key part of this history, houses the miraculous icon of the Mother of God, "Gorbačevičskaja."
The beautification work in Gorbačeviči is being led by Irina Starovoitova, Chairman of the Bobruisk District Council of Deputies, and Nikolai Suščinskij, a welder who created a cart by the pond in Gorbačeviči.
The area was recently inaccessible due to thickets, but Borodin stated that the place is now open and accessible. The project, according to Borodin, is just the beginning.
Frequent discussions between Victoria Litvinchik, Safety Engineer of the agricultural enterprise, the chairman of the Gorbačevičsky rural executive committee, Galina Prigara, and the director of the agricultural enterprise, Mikhail Borodin, have been taking place regarding the project.
A recent festival was held at the Rizоположенsky church in Gorbačeviči, reflecting the positive changes taking place in the area. Beauty is continually improving in Gorbačeviči, with something good happening every day.
In June 1919, Mikhail Kalinin, the "All-Russian Elder" and Chairman of the VCIK, visited Gorbačeviči, adding another historic chapter to this charming town's story. The transformation of Gorbačeviči continues, promising a brighter future for this significant Belarusian location.
