In a Chattanooga court confession, a former massage therapist acknowledges covertly filming videos of 88 clients during their sessions.

In a shocking turn of events, Kenneth Spears, a former massage therapist, has pleaded guilty to 20 counts of unlawful photography. The allegations against Spears, who worked at the Massage Envy near Hamilton Place Mall, were first reported by a client last September.

The client, who was undressing for her massage, had a "weird feeling" and discovered that Spears's phone was secretly recording her. She found a video of herself getting up and getting dressed, but did not note any inappropriate contact during the massage.

Upon finding the suspicious phone, the client confronted Spears and asked him to delete the footage from his trash folder. However, Spears did not comply, and the woman later deleted the recording and the previous recording showing her getting undressed.

Following the allegations, Spears was fired from his job at Massage Envy. The Tennessee's licensing board later concluded that Spears was guilty of "unethical or unprofessional conduct," fined him $1,000, and took away his license.

Several victims were present for Spears's hearing, but some opted not to take part in the case due to embarrassment. The attorney for the victims has confidence that authorities will pursue the case aggressively to ensure Spears receives the maximum punishment available.

The attorney for 3 victims who are suing massage envy expressed disappointment that Spears's crimes are only listed as misdemeanors. The district attorney of Hamilton County, Coty Wamp, is working to learn more about the case and will keep the public updated.

Spears is scheduled for sentencing on October 31st. According to the search results, the sentences will likely be concurrent, and each be for 11 months and 29 days, which would be Spears's total sentence. Judge Boyd Patterson remarked that if each of those counts carried a consecutive sentence, Spears would serve 20 years in prison.

It is important to note that Spears did not disseminate or share any of the videos he took to any platform. The case serves as a reminder for the importance of privacy and consent in all professional settings.
