Charity Run Organized by Guardia Civil in Seville: Date, Course, and Registration Details
Registration for the Civil Guard's charity race in Seville is now open! The event will take place on Saturday, October 4, and you can find the registration forms here.
The race is open to all ages, from the youngest born in 2024 to the oldest at home. The schedule for the race is as follows:
- Chupete (2020-2024) at 12:15 hours
- Prebenjamín (2018-2019) at 12:00 hours
- Benjamín (2016-2017) at 11:45 hours
- Alevín (2014-2015) at 11:30 hours
- Infantil (2012-2013) at 11:15 hours
- Cadete (2010-2011) at 11:15 hours
- Senior (1986-2009) and Veterano (up to 1985) at 09:30 hours
Prices and distances for the different categories are as follows:
- Chupete (2020-2024): 3€/ 100 meters
- Prebenjamín (2018-2019): 3€/ 200 meters
- Benjamín (2016-2017): 3€/ 500 meters
- Alevín (2014-2015): 3€/ 1,000 meters
- Infantil (2012-2013): 5€/ 2,000 meters
- Cadete (2010-2011): 5€/ 2,000 meters
- Senior (1986-2009): 9€/ 8,200 meters
- Veteran (up to 1985): 9€/ 8,200 meters
Registration for the race is not available on the day of the test. The registration deadline is October 2 or when 700 bib numbers for the adult categories and 400 for the lower categories are sold out.
Participants are encouraged to donate 1 kg of food when picking up their bib number. Bib numbers, runner's bag, and technical t-shirt will be distributed on Friday, October 3 from 10:00 to 13:30 hours and from 17:00 to 20:00 hours, and on October 4 from 07:30 to 09:00 hours at the headquarters of the Civil Guard Command of Seville.
For those who cannot attend the event or participate, but want to collaborate with Caritas, they can acquire the '0 bib number' which has a cost of 6€. Bib numbers for those who cannot attend the event but want to collaborate with Caritas can be acquired for a cost of 6€.
The itinerary of the race is still unknown, but the gathering place for runners is the headquarters of the Civil Guard Command of Seville (avenida Villanueva del Pitamo, 6) between Montequinto and Seville. The registration fee for the charity race will be donated to Caritas Castrense.
