Charity Organization, Ahmadiyya Jamaat, persists in feeding the homeless after three months

The AMJ community in Neuss, Germany, recently received the city's Integration Award, marking a significant milestone in their history. This recognition comes as the community continues to make a positive impact on the city, especially through their food distribution efforts.

So far, the AMJ community has provided around 10,000 meals, a number that is growing daily. Zaheer Ahmad, the chairman of AMJ Neuss, highlighted the number '100' as particularly significant, as 2023 marks the 100th anniversary of the community's existence in Germany.

To celebrate this milestone, the community held a special event on Münsterplatz, where a buffet was set up and a mobile "kitchen wagon" was parked in front of the Quirinusmünster. The mobile kitchen, provided by the Men's Organization of the AMJ Community Germany, offered chicken schnitzel, beef sausages, potatoes, dessert, cake, coffee, and juices to those in attendance.

The celebration also served as a launching point for future community projects. Ahmad suggested a potential future project of offering meals for the homeless and needy in an indoor space in the city center. After February, the community plans to continue distributing meals several times a week from the mobile "kitchen wagon."

The mobile kitchen will remain in Neuss until the end of February, providing daily meals to those in need. The community's dedication to service and integration is evident in their ongoing efforts to support the city and its residents.
