In the heart of Dresden, nestled on Bautzner Street 44, lies Andrea Curbach's ceramics studio. The studio, open if the light is on, exudes an artistic atmosphere that draws passersby in.

For three years, Andrea Curbach has been teaching ceramics and selling her unique creations at this location. Her passion for ceramics is evident in the pieces that adorn the studio, including a skillfully crafted ceramic puppy, a masterpiece made by one of her 12-year-old students.

The studio welcomes small groups or individual courses for children aged six and above. Andrea prefers these intimate settings, allowing her to focus on each student's progress and creativity.

As you step inside, you might notice a Minecraft sword waiting for its glaze. This is just one of the many unusual pieces that Andrea creates, as she does not produce functional ceramics.

Two Yorkshire Terriers, often present, add a warm and friendly touch to the studio. They are known to greet passersby, sometimes deterring them from ignoring the unassuming studio.

Andrea, who moved to Dresden thirty years ago, still can't speak Saxon fluently. Despite this, her Franconian accent adds a charming charm to the studio's ambience.
