Central Germany's Largest Folk Festival to Happen at Eisleber Wies in 2025

Mark your calendars for the much-anticipated Eisleben Wiesen Festival, taking place from the 19th to the 22nd of September, 2025, in the heart of Eisleben, Germany. This four-day event promises a plethora of activities, entertainment, and culinary delights for all ages.

The festival will kick off on the first day with a grand parade starting from the market square at 2 PM. Over 1,000 participants will take part in this colourful procession, which will pass through the Plan, the Lindenallee, and partly into the festival tent on the Wiese.

The main attraction of the festival will be the laser, light, and pyro show on the small Wiese, scheduled for the 27th of September at 9 PM. Fireworker Mark Schmidt will captivate the audience with a unique interplay of visual, optical, and acoustic elements, featuring technical surprises, pyrotechnical special effects, flame effects, and firework elements.

For those seeking thrills, the small Wiese will offer 26 rides, while the larger event will boast 48 rides, with 7 of them making their Wiesen debut.

The entertainment mile, approximately 4 km long, will be filled with over 300 businesses participating in the event. In addition, various regional products such as honey, sausage, fish, potatoes, fruit, pumpkins, baked goods, coffee, bread, grilled food, herbs, juices, jams, and more will be available from 11 AM to 5 PM on the 27th of September.

The small Wiese will also host a farmers' market from the 26th to the 28th of September, following the large Wiese. On the 26th, at 8 PM, the yoga group with Lisa Töpfer will be present on the meadow between the water playground and St. Trinitatis in Ruhla.

The large Wiese will operate from 3 PM to 1 AM on the first day, extending its hours to 10 AM on the subsequent days, closing at 11 PM on the Sunday and 12 AM on the final day. The small Wiese will operate from 3 PM to 11 PM on the first day, 11 AM to 11 PM on the second day, and 11 AM to 8 PM on the third day.
