Central Bank of Olekmin's main structural plumbing system has undergone renovation
In a significant stride towards improving healthcare services, the Olekmin Central District Hospital in Yakutia has received state-of-the-art equipment as part of the federal project "Combating Cardiovascular Diseases". This modernisation is a result of the national project "Longevity and Active Aging", initiated by President Vladimir Putin.
The new equipment is being utilised in the primary vascular departments of the republic's central district hospitals, with the aim of making help more accessible and effective for district residents. This advanced technology facilitates specialists' work, enables high-precision diagnostic methods, and helps reduce patients' recovery time after strokes and other cardiovascular diseases.
During the first half of 2025, the primary vascular department of Olekmin Central District Hospital treated 27 patients with acute cerebrovascular disorders. Additionally, 11 patients with acute coronary syndrome were treated at the same department during the same period. In cases where more specialised care was required, eleven patients with acute coronary syndrome and nine with acute cerebrovascular disorders were transferred to the republican vascular center of Republican Hospital No. 2 for further treatment.
The modern equipment is making a tangible difference in the lives of the district's residents. Maria Davyдовa, a patient at the vascular therapy department of Olekmin Hospital, expressed her gratitude for the professionalism and human touch of the medical staff at the Central District Hospital. She, like many others, believes that the new equipment and the professionalism of medical workers give people a chance at full recovery and a high quality of life.
Yakutia's Minister of Health, Lena Afanasyeva, emphasised the importance of the modernized departments for the residents of the district. She highlighted that this development is a significant step towards achieving the goals set out in the national project "Longevity and Active Aging".
Dr. Vasilyev Egor, the Minister of Health of Yakutia responsible for the modernization of the primary vascular departments of the central hospitals of the republic, is committed to ensuring that these improvements continue to benefit the district's residents. With the help of this modern equipment, the medical staff is better equipped to provide the highest standard of care for the community.
In conclusion, the modernisation of the primary vascular departments in Yakutia's central hospitals is a positive step towards improving cardiovascular care for the district's residents. The new equipment, combined with the professionalism of the medical staff, offers hope for a full recovery and a high quality of life for those affected by cardiovascular diseases.
