In the heart of Almaty, the "Zhetysu" park played host to a unique cultural-educational event for children and teenagers – the Bilim Fest. Organized by the Association for the Development of Domestic Production "Kasheber" and the Public Foundation "Onerpaz Urpak," the event aimed to promote national values, legal education, and spiritual and moral upbringing of youth.

The Bilim Fest event was timed to coincide with the Day of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, making it an even more significant occasion. Music teacher Umysnay Syrimbekova, who participated in the event, shared her positive impressions, highlighting the growing interest of the youth in Kazakh national values, crafts, and clothing.

Umysnay Syrimbekova emphasized the importance and usefulness of the event, stating that it serves as a platform for sharing and celebrating Kazakh national heritage and culture. An exhibition of Kazakh national crafts and traditional clothing was held during the event, providing a visual feast of the rich traditions of Kazakh culture.

Craftsmen and masters showcased their works and shared detailed information about the intricate processes and deep meanings behind these traditional pieces. The event also provided an opportunity for intergenerational dialogue, with a thematic discussion between parents and youth, focused on Abai's creativity and his poems.

The organizers expressed hope that the Bilim Fest event will become an annual platform for such dialogues, aiming to strengthen national identity among the younger generation. The event also served as a means to popularize the spiritual heritage of the great Kazakh enlightener Abai Kunanbayev, fostering a deeper understanding of Kazakh national values among the younger generation.

In addition, the rights and duties of children were discussed in an accessible format during the thematic discussion, making it a comprehensive educational experience for all attendees. Umysnay Syrimbekova's participation in the event underscores its significance and impact on the younger generation.

As the Bilim Fest continues to grow, it is clear that it will play a crucial role in preserving and promoting Kazakh national heritage and values for generations to come.
