Caution advised on excessive hair-binding for parents
In the city of Nizhny Novgorod, parents of primary school students have received some valuable advice on caring for their children's hair. This guidance comes from Tatiana Vareneva, a renowned trichologist.
Vareneva suggests using adult shampoos designed for sensitive scalps when washing children's hair. She explains that these products are more effective in cleansing hair with significant volume, providing a gentle yet thorough cleanse.
However, Vareneva cautions against tight hairstyles for children. She believes that excessive tension in hairstyles can lead to headaches and hair damage. To prevent this, she recommends minimizing the use of hairpins and clips. Instead, she suggests braids or "cornrows" as more suitable options for children's hairstyles.
Moreover, Vareneva advises against the use of hairpins and clips to prevent the risk of scarring alopecia, a condition caused by prolonged pressure on the scalp.
It's worth noting that the name of the person who previously provided advice on hair loss to Nizhny Novgorod residents remains unknown. Similarly, the person who gave advice on hair care for primary school children in August 2021 has not been identified.
Alexei Nikonov, the chief editor of "Stationary Press", has not released any statements regarding this matter.
Vareneva's advice serves as a reminder for parents to prioritize their children's hair health and to choose hairstyles that are gentle on their scalps. By following these tips, parents can help ensure their children's hair remains healthy and beautiful.
