Catastrophic Vehicle Inferno and Fatal Blast Outside Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas - Footage

In the early hours of January 1, 2025, an explosion rocked the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas, causing shockwaves throughout the city. Here's a timeline of the events that unfolded.

The explosion occurred at approximately 8:41 a.m. PT, causing windows to shake in the hotel and triggering the alarm system. The vehicle involved was a Tesla Cybertruck, a fact that would later spark controversy.

Several witnesses reported hearing an explosion while in the hotel's lobby. Stephen Felando, a guest at the hotel, described the incident as a "massive explosion" with a significant impact from the fire and explosion. Another social media user reported hearing what sounded like a dumpster being dropped and dragged for 10 seconds before the explosion.

The explosion triggered billows of dark smoke visible along the Las Vegas Strip, and at least two ambulances were reported to the hotel following the incident. At least two individuals required hospital treatment.

One person, Matthew Livelsberger, an active-duty U.S. Army soldier, died outside the hotel as a result of the explosion. Authorities have not confirmed a connection to a terrorist act.

The hotel, located on Fashion Show Drive, was closed as authorities investigated the incident. Traffic remained detoured as of late Wednesday morning.

The vehicle used in the New Orleans mass killing, which occurred hours before the Las Vegas incident, was also a Tesla Cybertruck rented from Turo. Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, suggested a link between the two incidents, stating that both vehicles were rented from the same platform.

However, further investigation revealed that inside the truck used in the New Orleans mass killing, there were an ISIS flag, guns, and explosives, according to New Orleans TV station WDSU. The suspect of the New Orleans mass killing, identified as Shamsud Din Jabbar, died. At least 15 people were killed and an estimated 35 were injured in the New Orleans mass killing.

Musk later confirmed that the explosion was caused by fireworks or a bomb in the bed of the rented Cybertruck, and is unrelated to the vehicle itself. A video of the explosion was posted on X.com, providing a chilling glimpse of the incident.

A social media user, identified as the person who was standing near the explosion site, stated they fell down on their knees as they hid behind a counter after the explosion. The FBI has joined the investigation into the explosion, which is being treated as a possible act of terror. As the investigation continues, more details are expected to emerge.
