Carlos Prates Lands Major 1xBet Sponsorship to Fuel UFC Title Push

Brazilian UFC welterweight Carlos Prates has secured a major sponsorship deal with global betting brand 1xBet. Known as The Nightmare, the fighter boasts six knockouts in seven bouts and is now backed by the company's first foray into mixed martial arts partnerships. The agreement aims to boost Prates' career while expanding 1xBet's reach in Brazil and beyond.

The collaboration marks 1xBet's debut in MMA sponsorship, a sector growing rapidly in global popularity. Through the deal, the company will help Prates build his personal brand and promote Brazilian talent on the world stage. Prates, who has quickly become one of the UFC's most feared welterweights, expressed his gratitude and reaffirmed his ambition to claim the championship belt.

1xBet's strategy extends beyond athlete sponsorship. The partnership will drive traffic to its affiliate programme, which already counts over 500,000 users across 150 countries. Simon Westbury, the brand's strategic advisor, described the project as a long-term investment in both Prates' success and 1xBet's growth in Brazil. The move also reflects a broader trend in the betting industry. Brands are increasingly turning to MMA as a key area for marketing, targeting fighters with large, engaged fan bases. For 1xBet, this deal aligns with plans to create a scalable growth model, blending athlete partnerships with digital acquisition and affiliate marketing.

The agreement provides Prates with additional resources to pursue his UFC title ambitions. For 1xBet, it opens doors in Brazil's expanding gaming market and strengthens its position in MMA sponsorship. Both parties aim to leverage the partnership for long-term success in their respective fields.
