In the past week, several traffic accidents have occurred in East Hesse, causing various degrees of material damage and raising concerns about road safety. Here's a summary of the incidents as reported by the Police Headquarters East Hesse.

On Tuesday, August 26, two separate accidents took place. In Rotenburg, a traffic accident involving a 42-year-old Kawasaki rider and a 47-year-old Renault driver occurred on the K 60 road at 7:15 AM. The motorcycle rider was taken to a hospital for medical treatment following the accident, which resulted in estimated material damage of around 10,000 euros.

Later that day, in Hosenfeld, a traffic accident occurred at 7:38 AM involving a 67-year-old Audi driver and a 54-year-old woman driving a Renault Master. Fortunately, no one was injured in this accident. However, the total material damage from the Hosenfeld accident is approximately 55,000 euros. The Police are still investigating the incident, and no information was provided about the driver who fled the scene.

The day before, on Monday, August 25, an accident in Bad Hersfeld involved a Kia-Carens driver who found damage to the right exterior mirror on their vehicle, estimated at around 100 euros, with no known perpetrator.

Another incident occurred in Philippsthal-Röhrigshof on Tuesday, August 26, when an Opel driver collided with a truck while reversing at an intersection, causing around 2,500 euros in damage. No details about the parties involved were provided.

In Rotenburg, on the same day, a car driver made a U-turn at a turning circle, and a motorcycle rider attempted to pass the car. The motorcycle rider fell off during the collision and suffered minor injuries. The estimated material damage from this accident is not available.

Lastly, in Bad Hersfeld on Monday, a Golf driver scraped the left side of a parked Citroën in a parking lot, causing around 2,000 euros in damage and leaving the scene without permission.
