Car Crash Leaves Driver and Infant Severely Hurt

In the quiet town of Hürth, Germany, a shocking traffic accident occurred on August 27. The incident, which took place on the Frechener Straße towards Hürth, involved two vehicles: a Suzuki and a Smart.

According to the original content transmitted by news aktuell from the Polizei Rhein-Erft-Kreis, for unknown reasons, the 37-year-old male driver of the Suzuki veered off the road to the left and collided with a tree. As a result, three individuals—the male driver, a 31-year-old female driver, and her baby—were severely injured.

Upon arrival at the scene, police officers were assisted by the Cologne Traffic Accident Recording Team. The officers documented traces at the accident site and prepared a traffic accident report. They also secured the Smart, the Suzuki, and the 37-year-old's phone.

The 31-year-old female driver, identified as the Suzuki driver, was present at the scene, but her name was not disclosed in the reports. An attentive witness provided first aid at the accident site before medical professionals arrived.

A doctor took a blood sample from the 37-year-old at the hospital, and the male driver is currently in critical condition. The investigation by the traffic detectives is ongoing.

The accident site was closed for several hours, from around 10:30 PM on August 27 until approximately 3:45 AM. Another driver, a 21-year-old in a Mercedes, was also involved in the accident, but was only touched by the Smart.
