In the heart of Stadtlohn, Burgstraße witnessed a shocking incident on Monday, August 25, 2025, at 21.50 hrs. A domestic dispute escalated into a 29-year-old Stadtlohn resident driving his car into a group of six people, leaving two on the ground and four standing nearby.

Among the victims was a 30-year-old from Ahaus, who was the target of the suspect's actions. The unfortunate individual was hit by the vehicle, picked up, and thrown through the air. Thankfully, the victim only sustained minor injuries and did not require on-site medical treatment.

After the incident, the injured person was found in his car on Stadtlohner Straße in Ahaus. The suspect was provisionally arrested, and his vehicle and driver's license were seized. The 29-year-old was later apprehended on Goethestraße in Stadtlohn.
