Campus dining experiences in 2024 promise expanded choices and improved efficiency.
In an effort to enhance the student experience, Holy Cross Dining Services has implemented several changes at on-campus dining spots, including Cool Beans and Crossroads Deli, Grains & Greens.
One of the notable changes is the introduction of new kiosks at Crossroads Deli, Grains & Greens for ordering meals. These kiosks not only make ordering more convenient but also offer the option to order allergy and gluten-free options for select items. To make the ordering process even smoother, students can input their phone number into the system to receive notifications about wait times and order completion.
At Cool Beans, the old pen and paper ordering system has been officially retired. Students can now place orders via the GrubHub app or through the new kiosks. For added convenience, students can attach their Holy Cross ID to their Apple Wallet or Google Pay for dining transactions.
In addition to these changes, Holy Cross Dining Services has also introduced new meal swipe options at Crossroads. These include a caprese flatbread, a crispy buffalo sub, and a vineyard haven salad.
Off-campus, Holy Cross students were treated to a special event – the Her Campus Girls Night. Held in the Hogan Ballroom, the event featured pizza, tote bag painting, a pilates class, massage chairs, and live music.
The Co-Curricular Fair, another significant event, aimed to help students develop personally and professionally. The fair showcased over 100 clubs and organizations at Holy Cross, providing an opportunity for students to explore their interests and get involved. According to the Holy Cross College website, the Co-Curricular Fair was a success.
These changes and events reflect Holy Cross's commitment to providing a vibrant and engaging campus life for its students. Whether it's enjoying a meal at Crossroads or participating in the Co-Curricular Fair, students at Holy Cross have plenty of opportunities to grow and thrive.
On a separate note, students' dining dollars were restocked without consequence on March 17. This is a welcome relief for students, ensuring they can continue to enjoy the dining options available on campus.
As the spring semester progresses, it's clear that Holy Cross is committed to offering its students a diverse and enriching college experience.
