In the ninth episode of the popular ZDF comedy series, "The Bundschuhs," Gundula and her husband Gerald embark on a camping trip with the intention of resolving their marital issues. The camping trip, scheduled to air on ZDF at 8:15 PM this Monday, has stirred a wave of curiosity among fans of the show.

Gundula, portrayed as a character who has been in a 30-year marriage, is considering divorce due to the strains in her relationship with Gerald. The couple, along with Gerald's boss Manfred, are camping at the same site, with Gerald having booked a luxurious camper van for the trip, despite his dislike for camping.

The camping trip is seen as a desperate attempt by Gerald to impress his boss, or so suggests recent speculation. However, Gundula is giving the trip a chance, hoping it will provide new perspectives and help them resolve their issues.

The Bundschuhs are depicted as being in a historical transition phase, with an outdated marriage construct where the woman is rattling and the man is fighting to keep the reins. Main actor Axel Milberg describes the relationship between Gerald and Gundula as always being competition or a race, and love being a memory.

Gundula's decision to go on the camping trip has not been welcomed by all. When her sister-in-law Rose reacted angrily to the news, Gundula clarified its importance for her and Gerald. Rose, who is training to be a pastoral worker, feels not taken seriously by her husband Hadi, who is described as a whiny pest still dreaming of making it big with a novel.

In a surprising turn of events, Gundula took an online separation test and received a result suggesting she should leave the marriage. However, she does not want any interference from the rest of her family during the camping trip, including Hadi and the rest of the Bundschuh clan.

Andrea Sawatzki, a renowned relationship expert, suggests that if a marriage is so stuck that you can hardly stand each other, separation might be the solution. As the camping trip unfolds, fans of "The Bundschuhs" eagerly await to see if the couple will make it or if this will mark the end of their 30-year marriage. Stay tuned for the latest episode of "The Bundschuhs" on ZDF this Monday at 8:15 PM.
