Calm, Transparent Weather Prospects in North Texas During the Upcoming Seven Days
With the arrival of a new workweek, residents of Texas can expect a shift in the weather, as high temperatures are set to rise above the current cooler-than-average levels.
The workweek commenced on a chilly note, with Monday morning temperatures in the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) region reaching 63°F - the coolest since mid-May. On Tuesday, we can anticipate another calm and cool start to the day, with lows hovering in the upper 50s and lower 60s.
Despite the initial cool start, temperatures will steadily warm throughout the workweek. Even on Tuesday, temperatures will still be a few degrees below average. By the afternoon, high temperatures will rise to the upper 80s, marking a significant increase from Monday's lower 80s, which was nearly 10° below normal for this time of the year.
The warming trend can be attributed to a ridge of high pressure building in the upper levels of the atmosphere over the southern plains. This atmospheric phenomenon is contributing to the rise in temperatures across the region.
As we approach the weekend, the weather forecast for Texas remains to be announced. The meteorologist who will be presenting the forecast is yet to be named, but viewers can catch the weekend morning shows at 9 AM on Saturday and 7 AM on Sunday morning to stay updated on the latest weather predictions.
