Caesars Sportsbook debuts at Northfield Park Racino with 24/7 betting and high-tech upgrades

Caesars Entertainment, Inc. has announced the debut of its latest in-person sportsbook, located at Northfield Park Racino, near Cleveland. It's the result of a partnership between Caesars and Clairvest Group Inc., and it enhances Caesars' outreach in Ohio, supplementing the functionality of their mobile app.

The news comes on the heels of the news that Caesars Sportsbook will take over operations of the Westgate SuperBook in Las Vegas. Caesars is also becoming known for its modern casino games that are available online, like its slot machines, its first proprietary online slot game called "Ca$hline," and its signature table games, like baccarat.

The new Caesars Sportsbook in Ohio promises a better betting and viewer experience, which begins with a massive LED video wall.

The sportsbook also offers a variety of options for placing bets, including five staffed betting windows and numerous self-service kiosks available around the clock. This allows visitors to bet on a wide range of sports with ease, while also enjoying the benefits of Caesars Rewards® with every wager placed.

"Northfield Park Racino gives us a strong new venue to connect with Northeast Ohio sports fans in a high-traffic entertainment destination," said Eric Hession, President of Caesars Digital. "Its location just outside Cleveland, a market defined by some of the most passionate sports fans in the country, pairs our industry-leading technology with a lively atmosphere that enhances how fans watch and wager on sports throughout the year."

Northfield Park Ownership Change Prompted Move

Clairvest Group Inc. took over MGM Northfield Park Racino this week, prompting the move.

MGM Resorts completed the sale of its operations this week. The racino has been rebranded as Northfield Park Racino, maintaining a connection to its historic harness racing track, while shedding the "MGM" branding. The transition involved a brief closure to facilitate the handover, which has now been finalized.

This partnership also adds more options to Northfield Park's entertainment offerings.

Kevin Brady, General Manager at Northfield Park Racino, commented on the collaboration, "Partnering with Caesars Sportsbook injects even greater energy into our guests' experience, particularly within our Overtime Bar and Grill, amplifying the overall atmosphere for sports fans."

Caesars Sportsbook App a Big Part of the New Venture

Since its inception in 2021, the Caesars Sportsbook app has undergone several updates, including the introduction of the Universal Digital Wallet, which simplifies fund management for users in 27 regions where the app is operational.

The app offers an array of betting options, including Same Game Parlays, player props, futures, and live, in-play betting. Users can even stream thousands of top-tier sporting events directly within the app. Notably, Caesars Sportsbook promotes responsible gaming, offering tools such as Deposit Limits and Cool Off Time Limits to ensure a safe wagering environment.

The opening of the Caesars Sportsbook at Northfield Park Racino marks a significant expansion in Ohio, offering sports betting fans both physical and mobile platforms to enjoy their favorite pastime responsibly.

And don't forget, there's horse racing, too.
