Caesars Atlantic City to launch new beach bar after council approval

Caesars Atlantic City is set to open a new beach bar after securing approval from the City Council. The move expands the casino's use of Beach Lot 25, adding to the limited number of news spots in the city. Officials have now greenlit plans for construction and operation to begin.

The City Council recently amended Caesars' beach lease to allow the development. The casino must still gain approval from the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs before building permanent structures. Once completed, the bar will join LandShark Bar & Grill at Resorts and Bungalow Beach Bar as the only beachfront options for visitors.

Caesars has seen steady growth in recent years. In 2025, the casino reported $203.8 million in in-person gaming revenue, placing it sixth among Atlantic City's nine casinos. Hotel occupancy also remained strong, with rooms filled 79.7% of the time through the first nine months of the year. The average nightly room rate rose from $140 in 2019 to $184 in 2024, reflecting increased demand.

Financially, the casino has performed well. Gross operating profit reached $32.7 million in the first three quarters of 2025. The new beach bar aims to attract more visitors and boost revenue further.

The beach bar will offer another drinking and dining choice along Atlantic City's shoreline. With approvals progressing, construction could start soon. The casino hopes the addition will draw more tourists and strengthen its position in the local market.
