C cooling down, up in Canyon
The Global Canyon University (GCU) Welcome Week kicked off in style on Thursday evening with the highly anticipated Canyon Cool Down event. Organised by the GCU Student Council, the event took place on the Grove fields and was one of the main highlights of the week.
Throughout the evening, students participated in a variety of activities, designed to help them cool down and have fun. Water guns were used liberally, with water being shot out in a refreshing spray, providing a fun and entertaining twist to the usual Welcome Week activities.
One of the most popular attractions was the availability of Eegee's shaved ice. Students were able to purchase this tasty treat and use it to cool down during the event. The shaved ice proved to be a hit, with students enjoying themselves as they mingled and socialised on the Grove fields.
The Canyon Cool Down event provided the perfect opportunity for students to relax, socialise, and enjoy themselves during GCU's Welcome Week. With its fun-filled activities and refreshing atmosphere, it was no surprise that the event was a huge success.
As the sun set on the Grove fields, students left the Canyon Cool Down event with smiles on their faces, looking forward to the rest of GCU's Welcome Week. The Canyon Cool Down is undoubtedly one of the big evening activities during GCU's Welcome Week, and it certainly lived up to expectations.
