ByBit and TGE collaboration unveiled by WorldShards; release date announced

Lowkick Studio, a pioneering game developer based in Abu Dhabi, has made waves in the web3 gaming industry with its flagship title, WorldShards. The free-to-play multiplayer action role-playing game, which was founded in 2022, is set to bring MMORPG experiences to the web3 realm.

WorldShards, joining the ranks of GameFi's biggest projects, offers an immersive gaming experience with dynamic, ever-changing environments, extensive exploration, and dynamic combat. The game has already recorded impressive sales figures, with a total of $8.6 million in NFT sales in 2024.

The game's CEO, Andrei Zimenco, has confirmed that WorldShards has secured a centralized exchange partnership with Bybit. Furthermore, an upcoming announcement promises the unveiling of additional CEX partners in the coming week.

WorldShards stands out from other games in its genre with its innovative crafting system. Players have the freedom to create essential items such as weapons, tools, and armour, giving them more control over their in-game assets. To celebrate its upcoming launch, WorldShards will offer free access to players for 30 days starting from September 5th, 2025. Active players who log in for at least 25 days during this free period will receive full access to the game at no cost.

Lowkick Studio has secured backing from notable investors, including Abu Dhabi Gaming and OpenLoot. The team behind WorldShards has also made a commitment to long-term economic stability, with no token allocations for the team or early investors. Only 5-10% of the total supply will be unlocked at launch, with the rest vested over six years.
