Duranta Secures $7 Million Seed Funding for Landscaping Businesses

Duranta, a tech startup focused on revolutionising the landscaping and lawn care industry, has secured a $7 million seed funding round. The funding, led by multiple Silicon Valley firms including Base10 Partners, Pear, Coalition Operators, and Sunshine Lake, will be used to accelerate product development and expand the engineering team.

Duranta's co-founder and CEO, Samuel Adeyemo, stated that the company aims to help landscapers and lawn care professionals run stronger, more profitable businesses. Duranta's key innovation, AIdan, is a proprietary AI model that automatically measures property details and generates customer proposals, eliminating thousands of time-consuming site visits for customers.

The funding will contribute to the continued development of Duranta's product features, including its suite of landscape design, invoicing tools, and a CRM system. Integrated with AIdan, these tools provide a comprehensive solution for landscaping businesses, designed to help them attract more customers and streamline their operations.

The new funding round also saw participation from angel investors such as GitHub CEO Thomas Dohmke and PagerDuty co-founder Andrew Miklas. Other Silicon Valley firms involved in the funding round included Initialized Capital and Slow Ventures.

With the new funding, Duranta expects to enhance support for its growing number of business clients. The company was founded by experienced engineers from companies like Aurora Solar, Amazon, Google, Airbnb, Figma, and Datadog. Duranta's focus remains on assisting landscaping businesses in attracting more customers and streamlining their operations.

The company's product is reported to be used by customers to close large contracts, demonstrating its potential to transform the landscaping industry. Duranta's ultimate goal is to develop a modern operating system for outdoor service professionals, making it easier than ever for businesses in this sector to thrive.
