Buses departing from Marburg commence their journeys.

On August 1st, a group of 29 youths commenced their training with the local government of Marburg. The newly appointed trainees were warmly welcomed by Mayor Nadine Bernshausen during a town hall event, where she addressed them in the city administration.

New Apprentices Join Marburg City Administration

On August 1st, the university city of Marburg welcomed 29 new apprentices to its administration team. The diverse group of young professionals began their careers in various departments, from Information and Media to Street Maintenance, and Sports and Fitness Sales.

Mayor Nadine Bernshausen extended a warm welcome to the new apprentices at the Marburg town hall, emphasizing the opportunity to work in multiple areas and receive high-quality training. Among the new recruits are Lisa Bodenbender, starting as an Information and Media Specialist, and Fridolin Reinhold, who joined as a Construction Designer.

Sabine Visosky-Becker, the city's internal women's and equal opportunities officer, highlighted the importance of equal opportunities in the administration. She welcomed the new apprentices, emphasizing the city's commitment to creating an inclusive environment for all.

In addition to the apprentices, Denise Dörrler, Jana Hinterlang, Niklas Nöding, Alin Ivette Garcia Nunez, Philipp Schmidt, Elias Triebert, and Philipp Zier began their internships in the children's care and school care department.

The new apprentices were also greeted by Cordula Tschirschnitz, chairperson of the works council, and Beate Zimmermann, chairperson of the personnel council. They expressed their enthusiasm for the new additions to the team and their support for the apprentices' development.

Sven Danzeisen and Jasmin Ptak from the youth and apprentice representation (JAV) emphasized the importance of networking and exchange among the apprentices. They encouraged the newcomers to take advantage of the opportunities to learn from each other and build a strong community within the administration.

Iris Siegel from the severely disabled representative also welcomed the trainees, expressing her hope that they would contribute to making the city a more inclusive and accessible place for all.

Among the new apprentices are Yehor Porub, starting as a Baths Operations Specialist, and Leander Dersch, who joined as a System Integration Specialist. The street maintenance department welcomed Tim Wuschko, Dylan Hofmann, Eileen Walter, and Jannik Nau.

Serap Arslanoglu Gülec, Lea Buschhaus, Meldagül Demir, Evol Manuel Puts, Anastasia Reisz, Anna Schwarz Terés, Spyridon Tzouvaras, Cüneyt Uzuncam, and Irem Yediler are starting as administrative professionals with the city.

The new apprentices received a schoolbag, a Marburg bag, and small welcome gifts to mark the beginning of their careers with the city. The newcomers are now an integral part of the Marburg city administration team, ready to embark on their professional journey and contribute to the city's future.
