Motorcyclist critically hurt - Bus strikes motorcyclist
Around 5:20 am on a Tuesday, a 56-year-old biker was cruising along the state road in Gangkofen (Rottal-Inn district). A bus driver, coming from a sidestreet, aimed to cross the intersection. He failed to notice the biker who attempted to evade the collision by swerving but still collided with the left side of the bus.
Responding to the scene, paramedics provided first aid to the severely injured motorcyclist, who was then rushed to the hospital. Thankfully, the bus driver escaped unscathed. The Gangkofen volunteer fire department took charge of managing traffic and tidying up the accident site. The motorcycle sustained full destruction, roughly costing 5000 euros.
