Burien's Jay's Mini Mart sells 20 winning $10,000 lottery tickets in one draw

Washington’s Lottery is asking players in Burien to double-check their tickets after an unusual streak of wins. A single store in the city sold 20 winning Match 4 tickets for the May 13, 2026 drawing. The odds of such an event happening are almost impossibly low—around 1 in 3.37 octodecillion.

The winning tickets, each worth $10,000, were all purchased at Jay’s Mini Mart in Burien. Together, they add up to $200,000 in prizes from that one location. The winning numbers for the May 13 drawing were 03, 19, 22, and 23.

Statewide, 22 top-prize Match 4 tickets were sold for that draw. Two additional $10,000 winners came from Lakewood and Tacoma. Normally, the chance of a single ticket winning $10,000 stands at 1 in 10,600. Lottery officials have highlighted how rare it is for so many winning tickets to come from the same place. Players who bought Match 4 tickets at Jay’s Mini Mart are now being urged to verify their numbers carefully.

The unusual cluster of wins has drawn attention to Burien’s Jay’s Mini Mart. With $200,000 in prizes unclaimed at the store, lottery players are being encouraged to check their tickets. The drawing’s results remain a statistical anomaly in Washington’s lottery history.
