Vote-by-Mail Deadlines and Locations Announced in City

As the election day approaches, residents of the city are reminded of the key dates and locations for applying for and collecting vote-by-mail materials.

The Citizen's Office in Dienstleistungszentrum Passavia, located at Vornholzstraße 40, is an additional location for application and collection of vote-by-mail materials. The deadline for this is Friday, 02/21/2025, at 12:00 PM.

For those who prefer to apply online or using the printed QR code on the voting notice, the deadline is slightly earlier. Online applications and applications using the QR code will close on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at 12:00 PM.

The location for personal application and collection is the Citizen's Office in the Old Town Hall, Ground Floor Room 3, Town Hall Square 2 (Entrance Schrottgasse - Access to the Town Hall Hall). The deadline for personal application and collection is Friday, February 21, 2025, at 3:00 PM.

It is important to note that vote-by-mail envelopes (pink envelopes) must be received by the election office in the Old Town Hall by 6:00 PM on election Sunday, 02/23/2025.

The city's mailboxes in the Old and New Town Hall will be emptied and ballots will be forwarded to the counting by 6:00 PM on election Sunday. However, it is not possible to submit vote-by-mail envelopes at the polling stations.

The names and contact addresses are typically provided by the city administration and can usually be obtained during official hours at the town hall or municipal offices.
