Buchen’s Organic Market Day Strengthens Local Sustainable Farming Ties

The Neckar-Odenwald Organic Model Region, known officially as MODellregion Nachhaltiger Biolandbau Neckar-Odenwald-Kreis, has been promoting organic agriculture since 2019. Funded until June 2028, it covers the entire district and focuses on key projects like on-farm slaughter, education campaigns, and improved marketing for organic producers.

The market day reinforced connections between producers and buyers in the Neckar-Odenwald district. By showcasing organic products and sustainable practices, the event helps strengthen the region’s agricultural future. The initiative remains part of a wider network of 14 model regions driving organic growth across Baden-Württemberg.
