Brossart girls maintain their fifth successive Class 1A region track title, and the boys team secure their spot in the winners' enclosure.

In a thrilling display of athletic prowess, Brossart High School emerged victorious at the Class 1A Region 4 Track and Field Championship, marking their fifth consecutive win. The school amassed an impressive total of 150 points, finishing well ahead of the competition.

Beechwood High School followed closely behind in second place with 95 points, while Newport Central Catholic took third with 76 points.

Brossart's dominance was not limited to the team events, as they also swept all four relays. The 4×100 and 4×200 relays were won by the Brossart team, demonstrating their strength in sprint races.

Individually, Brossart athletes shone brightly. Caroline Nordman, a sophomore, won the 200 and 400 dashes, while Anna Curtsinger, also a sophomore, triumphed in the pole vault event. Peyton Trauth, a junior, added to Brossart's tally with a win in the long jump, and Alex Combs, another senior, clinched the high jump event.

Zoey Woosley, a senior, had a standout performance, winning the 100-meter hurdles and securing a gold medal in the 4×100 relay. She also placed second in the 300 hurdles and third in the long jump.

Beechwood's Lily Parke, a junior, was a multiple gold medal winner, taking first place in the 800, 1600, and 3200 events. Ava Walters, also a junior from Brossart, added to the excitement with a victory in the discus event.

Villa Madonna senior Mark Antrobus was another multiple gold medal winner, securing victories in the 4×800 relay and 1600 run.

Marcello Herald, a senior from Bellevue, scored 32 points for his team with victories in the 110 and 300 hurdles. NewCath senior Charlie Ford also had a strong showing, winning the 100, 200 dashes, and placing first in the long jump. He also finished second in the high jump.
