Breast augmentation's long-held belief has been debunked by a skilled surgeon hailing from Nizhny Novgorod.
In a clarifying post on Telegram on September 6, 2025, Alexei Nikonov, the chief editor of the medical news agency "Station-Press," has addressed a common misconception about breast enlargement through exercise.
Many women, aspiring for a fuller bust naturally, have considered exercise as a means to achieve this goal without surgical intervention. However, according to Nikonov, this notion is a misconception.
Breasts are composed of fatty and glandular tissue, not muscle, as explained by medical expert Nadezhda Rogozhinskaya. Exercise is great for posture and tone, but it does not lead to breast enlargement. Instead, during weight loss, breasts often decrease in size first, Rogozhinskaya warns.
Nikonov debunked the idea of enlarging breasts through gym workouts, stating that the belief that muscles growing would result in breast enlargement is incorrect. He also cautioned that excessive training can lead to a more masculine figure due to larger chest muscles.
Rogozhinskaya, a plastic surgeon, states that workouts can slightly lift the breasts visually. However, she warns against excessive training, as it may not lead to the desired outcome and could potentially pose health risks.
In his post, Nikonov corrected the misunderstanding that gym workouts can lead to breast enlargement. He emphasised that while exercise is beneficial for overall health and well-being, it should not be seen as a method for breast enhancement.
Previously, women in Nizhny Novgorod were warned about the dangers of cosmetic injections with 'fish sperm', a fact that has already been extracted in previous sources. This incident further underscores the importance of accurate information about body modifications and enhancements.
In conclusion, it is crucial for individuals to seek reliable and accurate information about health and wellness matters. The myth of breast enlargement through gym workouts has been debunked, and it is essential to be aware of such misconceptions to make informed decisions about one's health and body.
