Brazil's Casa Brazil debuts at ICE Barcelona 2026 to boost gaming industry growth

Brazil's gaming industry is set to take centre stage at ICE Barcelona 2026 with the launch of Casa Brazil. The initiative, announced after a high-level meeting in the country, will focus on sharing expertise, shaping regulations, and expanding business opportunities. Organisers say the platform will highlight Brazil's rapid growth as a key player in the global gaming market. A recent gathering in Brazil brought together government officials and gaming leaders to tackle illegal markets and promote safer betting. Hosted by Clarion Gaming and ANJL, the meeting laid the groundwork for ICE Barcelona 2026, where Casa Brazil will debut as a dedicated space for industry collaboration.

Casa Brazil will offer seminars, regulatory briefings, and networking events. The goal is to exchange best practices and refine frameworks that support a secure, well-regulated sector. ANJL President Plinio Lemos Jorge called the meeting productive and stressed its role in preparing for the 2026 event.

Brazil's gaming market has surged since regulation began in January 2025. The first full year saw gross revenue hit BRL 37 billion (around $6.9 billion), making it one of Latin America's fastest-growing sectors. However, early 2026 figures showed a dip, with January revenues at R$1.49 billion and February at R$1.04 billionβ€”a 30.2% drop from the previous month.

Liliana Costa, Clarion Gaming's Director for Latin America, confirmed Casa Brazil's launch. The initiative will also explore international partnerships and showcase Brazil's influence on the global stage. Casa Brazil will provide a structured platform for dialogue and innovation at ICE Barcelona 2026. The initiative follows Brazil's strong revenue growth in 2025 and aims to address challenges like market fluctuations and illegal operations. Industry leaders expect the event to strengthen regulations and open new business avenues for the sector.
