Brazil Experience: Electrocution of TV Studio Employee

In the heart of Belo Horizonte, Brazil, a devastating accident claimed the life of 22-year-old Brunna Ribeiro de Castro Rosas on Sunday.

Brunna, a journalism student and an intern at TV Record, was traveling in a car that collided with a traffic light, causing the vehicle to catch fire. The incident was witnessed by several people.

The car's driver, Brunna's boyfriend, is currently in critical condition and was transported to the hospital. Another passenger, a TV Record image editor, managed to exit the car conscious despite suffering minor burns. Another passenger also sustained minor injuries.

The statement from TV Record and the Minas Gerais police department mourned the loss of Brunna, describing her as intelligent, committed, and fun. She had been part of the TV Record team for nearly two years.

The Civil Police are still investigating the circumstances of the accident, with no new information available about the cause of the high speed at which the car was traveling.

Brunna's body was taken to the Institute of Legal Medicine for further examination. The incident has left the TV Record team, her friends, and the wider community in shock and mourning.
