On the 10th of August, 2025, the Federal Police Inspectorate Ebersbach successfully ensured the safe arrival and return of approximately 1,600 and 1,400 train users during the Christopher Street Day (CSD) event in Bautzen.
The event, which saw participants and counter-demonstrators mainly traveling from Dresden and Görlitz by train, was marked by an incident-free atmosphere. There were no reported incidents during the event, a testament to the effective planning and execution of the operation.
Deployment forces accompanied most of the trains and were present at several stations, including Dresden Central Station, Dresden-Neustadt Station, the transfer station Bischofswerda, and Görlitz Station. Several dog handlers were part of the operation, providing additional security measures.
However, there were a few minor offenses reported. One case of property damage to a deployment vehicle and one offense under the Weapons Act, due to the carrying of a knife, were registered during the event. Additionally, one criminal offense under § 86a of the Criminal Code was also reported.

Two Federal Police helicopters were used during the event, providing aerial surveillance and support when needed. The operation ended in the evening after the last return journey, marking the successful conclusion of the Federal Police's involvement in the Christopher Street Day in Bautzen.
