Biysk unveils February 8 cultural lineup with theatre and astronomy events

Biysk has announced a series of cultural events for February 8, organised by local venues. The city's press centre released the schedule, which includes theatre performances, planetarium sessions and interactive activities. Several events will accept the Pushkin Card for payment.

The Biysk Drama Theater will kick off the day with a fairy tale performance of The Frog Princess at 12:00 PM. Later, at 5:00 PM, the same venue will stage the reflective comedy Now or Never. Both shows are available for booking with the Pushkin Card.

At the Rodina Youth Center (Planetarium), a children's session titled *Extraordinary Celestial Phenomena* begins at 12:00 PM. An hour later, at 1:00 PM, visitors can join a guided tour of the Rocket and Space Technology Museum, followed by a screening of *Russian Orbital Observatories* in honour of Russian Science Day. The planetarium's afternoon programme continues with an *Astronomy and Geodesy Quiz* at 2:00 PM. At 4:00 PM, it will show the popular science film *The Search for Planets That Could Support Life*, open to audiences aged 12 and above. This screening is also eligible for Pushkin Card payments.

The events cover theatre, astronomy and interactive learning. Some activities, like the planetarium film and both drama performances, can be attended using the Pushkin Card. No visitor statistics for the Rodina Youth Center in 2023 have been made public.
