Bike Rider Harmed in Vehicle Collision on Roadway
On Monday, August 25th, a collision occurred in Gummersbach, Oberbergischer Kreis, at around 19:10. The involved parties were a 72-year-old Audi driver from Bonn and a 57-year-old cyclist from Nuremberg.
The incident took place on the street "Im Kloster" in Gummersbach. According to reports, the Audi driver drove past parked cars on the right side of the road before the collision. The cyclist was coming towards the Audi driver at the time of the collision.
Following the collision, the cyclist was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The police authorities are investigating the incident, but as of now, no information about the officer from the Oberbergischer Kreis district police investigating the collision has been made available.
