Big Deal for One Drop poker tournament returns to Las Vegas with star-studded lineup

The Big Deal for One Drop poker tournament is returning to Las Vegas this November. Founder Guy Laliberté announced the event will take place at Resorts World during Race Week, alongside the Las Vegas Grand Prix. Part of the proceeds will support One Drop's mission to provide safe water worldwide. The 2025 tournament is scheduled for November 21 at Allē Lounge on 66 inside Resorts World. A welcome reception begins at 11am, with the $5,300 buy-in event starting at noon. Of the total entry fees, $4,000 will form the prizepool, while $1,000 from each entry will go directly to One Drop's clean water projects.

Registration is now open on the One Drop website, though seats are limited. Confirmed participants include poker legend Phil Hellmuth, actress Jennifer Tilly, and former Formula 1 driver David Coulthard. Hellmuth will also serve as the event's host. This year's tournament coincides with Race Week, offering attendees access to Fan Prix, an outdoor festival featuring racing drivers like Romain Grosjean. The partnership aims to blend poker and motorsport entertainment while raising funds for charity. Since its launch in 2012, the One Drop Foundation has raised over $26 million for sustainable water initiatives. Unlike past events, such as the 2023 Big One for One Drop—which awarded multi-million-dollar cash prizes—this edition will include unique, undisclosed prizes for participants.

The Big Deal for One Drop combines high-stakes poker with charitable giving. The event's limited seating and exclusive prizes add to its appeal, while the partnership with Fan Prix expands its reach. All proceeds will contribute to One Drop's ongoing work in global water access.
