Berlin's new shopping centers opened on Sunday

Berlin, the vibrant capital of Germany, is getting ready for a special shopping day this coming Sunday. Due to the International Radio Exhibition (IFA) taking place at the Berlin Radio Tower, several stores and shopping centers across the city will be open, making it a Shopping Sunday in Berlin.

The shopping centers at Marzahner Promenade 1A (Eastgate), Senftenberger Ring 17 (Märkische Zeile), Badstraße 4 (Gesundbrunnen Center), Borsigturm 2 (Hallen am Borsigturm), Tauentzienstr. 9-12 (Europa Center), Klosterstraße 3 (Spandau Arcaden), Johannisthaler Chaussee 317 (Gropius Passagen), Schlossstraße 10 (Boulevard Berlin), and Tempelhofer Damm 227 (Tempelhofer Hafen) will all be open from 13:00 to 18:00.

In addition to these, Forum Steglitz, located at another Schlossstraße, and Alexa Berlin, near Alexanderplatz at Grunerstraße 20, will also be open during the same hours.

Another popular destination, Das Schloss, situated at Schlossstraße, will also welcome shoppers from 13:00 to 18:00. The shopping center at Turmstraße 25 (Schultheiss Center) and Linden Center, at Prerower Platz 1, will also be part of the Shopping Sunday.

The Mall of Berlin, located at Leipziger Platz 12, will be open until 19:00 to cater to those who prefer a later shopping experience.

The International Radio Exhibition (IFA) is the reason behind this extended shopping day in Berlin. This annual event, which showcases the latest in consumer electronics and home appliances, attracts a large number of visitors to the city, leading to the decision to open several stores on a Sunday.

So, if you're in Berlin this coming Sunday, don't miss out on the opportunity to enjoy a day of shopping at your favourite stores and shopping centers. Whether you're looking for the latest gadgets, fashion, furniture, or just a leisurely shopping experience, Berlin has it all for you this Shopping Sunday.
