Bentley Unveils New Design Studio and Concept Car, EXP 15

Bentley Motors has announced a significant transformation in its design philosophy, as it unveils its new English design studio in Crewe and presents the all-electric concept car, EXP 15.

The grand tourer design of the EXP 15, over five meters long, embodies Bentley's new era, combining power with poise. The car features a three-seat, asymmetrical door layout, with a pair of rear-hinged and forward-opening doors on the right-hand side, and a single door on the left.

The interior of the EXP 15 is equally impressive, with a three-seater layout that includes a driver's seat, a swiveling and adjustable front passenger chair, and a rear bench. The dashboard showcases Bentley's new "Magical Fusion" interface, blending digital displays with real wood surfaces. This innovative feature allows the dashboard to switch from a digital display to pure wood veneer at the press of a button.

The design overhaul in Bentley's new cars is a visual and spatial reimagining of the brand, with the EXP 15's falcon wings serving as a symbol of its journey into the future. The central "B" in the redesigned Bentley logo sits front and center like a gemstone, with facets and a metal frame, reflecting the sharper lines and more dynamic wings inspired by the peregrine falcon.

The new design studio in Crewe, part of Bentley's Dream Factory initiative, is a testament to the brand's commitment to fusing tradition with sustainability. The studio, which houses around 50 designers, has double the space compared to its predecessor. It also includes new facilities for painting and electric vehicle assembly, as well as the restoration of historical buildings.
