Beau Rivage Heater poker festival returns with a $5.5M prize pool in January

The Beau Rivage Heater poker festival returns to Biloxi, Mississippi, next month with a record-breaking prize pool. Running from January 7 to 19, the event will feature 12 tournaments and over $5.5 million in guaranteed winnings. This surpasses the 2025 edition’s $4 million total, making it one of the biggest festivals of its kind.

The Beau Rivage Resort & Casino is hosting the festival for the second year in a row. Among the highlights are three seven-figure events: a $1.5 million Opener, a $1 million Mystery Bounty, and the $1.5 million Main Event. The Main Event, with a $1,200 buy-in, will run from January 15 to 19, offering five starting flights before a Day 2 restart.

Players can still secure their seats through online satellites. BetMGM Poker is running qualifiers in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey until January 11. Winners receive a $3,100 package covering a Main Event entry, two additional tournament entries, five nights’ accommodation, and travel credits. An extra 30 guaranteed seats for the Main Event will be awarded in special satellites on January 14 and 15.

The festival’s expanded guarantees and satellite options provide more ways for players to compete. With 12 tournaments and over $5.5 million on the line, the Beau Rivage Heater is set to attract a large field. Registration and qualifiers remain open until the event begins on January 7.
